93 S Coupe (with optional extras)
January 2024; The owner of another SAAB (9-5) and already a customer, the car was bought in Decemeber and brought straight to Brevsaab for the repair of a number of age and wear related issues, and to work on the roof where it had previously been pushed in by around 4 inches. A real barn find coupe with under 60k on the odometer and barely any corrosion anywhere.
The owners comment; "I was impressed by Brian's wealth of knowledge of the marque, and the meticulous attention to detail when doing the work on my car".

Autumn 2023;
The new owner of a 9-3SS saloon brought it in for a full service and check over.
A cosmic blue Aero convertible came in for some significant work, including replacement of the hydraulic rams that operate the roof with remanufactured units. This much loved example is now back in very good condition.
A low milage 9-5 saloon has had a full service and it's cabin air mixing box repaired, so the air goes where it is directed and the temperature control works. This 9-5 came back in Jan '24 to have rear wheel arch and sill rust repaired on both sides.
A 9-3S needed one engine mount replacing and a broken bolt in another engine mount replacing. A word to the wise, if your 9-3 has old engine mounts that have worn and gone soft it is worth replacing them before further damage happens.

93 S Coupe
July / Sept 23 Bought new by a family member, this 9-3 S has been well looked after but was feeling tired. Water leaking into the boot, the front exhaust flexi was split, and many more issues. A thorough work through and some significant upgrades has this SAAB back in excellent condition and secures it’s future as a cherished car. Picture below at the start;
After all the work was done;
The owners' comment "Thank you for all your hard work. the car looks, sounds and runs great!"
93 S Auto with upgrades
May / June 23. A daily driver from Ayr needing a lot of minor corrections, and a few more significant repairs. An overhaul and major service were needed to get this one back to factory build once again.
Aero Coupe with customisation
A much loved, customised Aero Coupe arrives, well used and cared for but feeling it's age, Quarter 1 of 2023 has been spent working on this example which had multiple bodywork and mechanical issues to resolve.
Repaired and refinished the Aero is now ready for the next era in its life.
This Aero has a rare SAAB bonnet protector, and fog lights replaced by custom grilles.
Numerous minor faults under the bonnet have been corrected, and the steering rack repaired.
A Viggen Coupe gets much needed TLC
A well worn Viggen arrives, unused and left out for four years it's owner decided it was time for action. An extensive restoration followed over the next 3 months.
Brakes and supsension completely reworked front and rear, the front suspension legs had to be replaced, courtesy of RAWSAAB.
The engine bay after significant work to bring it up to scratch.
Whilst the interior was out of the car each piece was cleaned, and the leather was then treated before refitting.
The renewed Viggen.
A brief digression into a Mk2 9-3
This 9-3 was an M.O.T. failure with a long list of minor problems, and one or two more significant issues. All of the issues have been addressed; it has an M.O.T. and after a thorough clean up is back to looking as it should.
After a few days back with the owner he comments: Took it down to Norwich and back, it's been perfect!
Viggen Convertible project
This SAAB has been well used and well loved and in a good state if a little scruffy around the edges and unkempt. It has had a thorough work through the engine bay and underneath, an exstensive major service, and light restoration including the front brake disc dust shields replaced. The hood has been cleaned and the body has been revitalised and items refinished where necessary.
